I'm back to work again after a wonderful weekend away with other TaLK scholars from Jeonnam. We went east to Geoje Island by way of Tongyang. It was a great trip, highlights being the Korean Aerospace Museum in Tongyang and island paradise of Oedo..beautiful!
This is my 2nd to last week of regular teaching..then one of summer camp then off home.
The pressure is really on now to get a job ASAP. I've yet to hear back from Canadian Connections about the 2 schools they offered me. I turned one down last week, because they wanted me to start immediately. All in all I'm pretty disappointed and getting worried. Me worried isn't good for anyone around me as I get very single-minded..so heres praying something comes up soon. There is no real plan B as my research has been stalled so much returning to uni is not really an option at this point.
Pray something comes up soon.

Good to see you have enjoyed your time in Korea. I, too, am heading over there through Canadian Connections and will be teaching on Imja island. I saw through a Google search that you mention Imja but could not locate it in my brief search of your posts.
